Dusk Digital is a two-person web design studio. They build good websites and charge fair prices. What they couldn't figure out was why getting paid always felt like a second job.
The Challenge
With 20 to 30 active clients at any given time, keeping track of who had paid and who hadn't was a constant background stress. They were using a shared spreadsheet, a label system in Gmail, and a lot of good intentions. It worked until it didn't. Every Monday morning started the same way: opening the spreadsheet, figuring out who needed a nudge, writing the same email for the fifth time that month.
The Approach
They connected Receivio to Bookly in under an hour. Built one sequence, turned it on, and closed the laptop. The first Monday after setup they opened their inbox and had two replies from clients confirming payment. They hadn't sent a single email themselves.
The Results
Average payment time dropped from 38 days to 19. The spreadsheet is still there. They just don't open it anymore. More importantly, the mental load of tracking it all disappeared almost immediately. Two people, one afternoon of setup, and Monday mornings are now just Monday mornings.
